Gaylord, Michigan – The Alpine Village
Nestled in the heart of Northern MI and situated on the 45th parallel you will find this wonderful community that is the sister city of Pontresina, Switzerland. This relationship is reflected throughout the town and evident in the Swiss Style Architecture that graces the downtown area.

The downtown area is transformed into the Alpenstrasse featuring ethnic treats, an extensive arts & crafts show with vendors from all over the country, and a fun filled carnival that is enjoyed by all ages. Additional Alpine Festival events are the Parade, Burning of the Boogg, and the World’s Largest Coffee Break.
